Step by Step to Delete a GA4 Account
Follow these easy steps to delete a Google Analytics 4 account:
Step 1: Remove the Tracking Code
Before you delete the account, make sure to remove the Google Analytics tracking code from your website or app. This stops data collection. Important first step!
Step 2: Log Into Google Analytics
Next go to analytics.google.com and log in with your credentials. Make sure you have admin access to the account you want to delete.
Step 3: Go to Admin
Once logged in look for the gear icon labeled “Admin” at the bottom left of the screen. Click on that to go to the Admin panel.
Step 4: Select Account
In the Admin panel you’ll see three columns: Account, Property, and Data Collection. In the first column (Account), Click on the Account Details Option.
